Made from thick 3mm clear acrylic, the pieces are large enough for little hands and is easily wipeable.

To ensure the best customer experience and product quality, all the pieces come with a transparent protective film on both sides.
We recommend keeping it on for as long as possible to preserve the quality of your pieces, but if you wish to remove it, you can use a hairdryer to heat them up slightly for easier removal.
Alternatively, some kids actually LOVE peeling off the film so it could be a fun activity for them to do too :)

This is a great, open-ended puzzle for my pre-K class, especially when paired with the light table. The colors are very vibrant and the pieces are easily attached and exchanged for other colors. My ONLY concern with the puzzle is that I did not realize the plastic coating would still be on and it will be a lot of time to remove both sides of plastic off of each piece, causing me to rate it down a star.
Hi Heather, I'm so glad your class is enjoying it! The puzzle didn't used to have the protective film and ended up with a lot of scratches upon delivery, so they are left on now to protect the pieces from scratches that will very quickly develop as soon as you start playing with them. A lot of customers actually prefer to keep the film on for as long as possible to extend the quality of the pieces for longer. Since the film is transparent, it should not affect the use of the pieces, but if you really want to remove them, you could try blowing them with a hairdryer to loosen them so they're easier to remove. - Jenny, founder & designer
Barely unboxed my delivery from Kingdom Playroom before my girls (2 & 5) were playing with the rainbow infinity puzzle! The pieces come with a protective film on them so they’re not actually dull. I personally recommend leaving them on for as long as possible to extend the life of the acrylic. The tube they come in is sturdy and reusable but there is a technique to getting them back in. Super thrilled already and look forward to trying some of the ideas in the guide!

I got this for my autistic nephew who loves puzzles. His birthday is coming up in February and he is going love this.
I love that this puzzle is open-ended and allows children to be able to create in whatever way they desire.
My eldest has really started to master how puzzles work, so he finds this really enjoyable! While my it also gives my youngest the opportunity to develop the same skills and understanding in a no pressure way, as there is no right or wrong way to use this.
I love that it’s sturdy and durable unlike cardboard puzzles, and can be used in all types of play including light tables and messy play too!
